Needs

Achso! English to German Learning Collective is a German language learning brand and website designed for English speakers through personal experiences, tips and reviews. Competitive brands have a childlike (ex. Duolingo), or dated (ex. Actilingua) learning atmosphere. Intended users for this project will be students and business professionals. Therefore, the design needs to not only be more modern and sophisticated, but the organization of the content navigation needs to be intuitive to a user’s learning level.

Solutions

The aesthetics of the brand are directed for the target audience: prospective/current university students, professionals (ex. scholastic, professional, simple and clean). The UI/UX design for the website was organized to compliment purposeful information architecture and content that understands the levels of German language learning, the specific challenges users may face and providing effective resources to overcome those challenges.
